A fun, compact brass instrument, perfect for younger players.
Easy to play
If your child wants to play the trumpet, but are too small to hold one comfortably, pCornet is a great place to start. Designed especially for small people, it is shorter, so can be held more easily, and being made from plastic is much lighter (less than half the weight!) than traditional brass cornets. This combination means little arms won’t get tired as quickly; children can enjoy playing for longer!
The pCornet is fantastic value for money, costing around a third of the price of beginner brass cornets. It comes with everything your child needs to play straight away: a soft cloth bag to protect it when rushing about between lessons/school/band, two plastic mouthpieces (2B and 4B, although it is also compatible with any regular cornet mouthpiece) and an array of supporting online learning resources.
Brass cornets are easily dented, damaged and high maintenance. Because our pCornet is made from recyclable ABS plastic it is extremely durable and strong, and can withstand the inevitable rough treatment it may receive wherever you take it! Low maintenance and robust the pCornet is a worry free, dependable and fun instrument.
Progress with ease
Part of the brass instrument family, the cornet technically plays the same way as a trumpet. This means the skills your child develops playing the pCornet can be transferred to playing a trumpet when they are a little older and bigger. Or they can continue playing the cornet, the choice is theirs!
Includes two Denis Wick plastic mouthpieces (2B & 4B)
All plastic water-key
One piece patented lead pipe
Adjustable main tuning slide
Lightweight and easy to hold, just 500g
The pCornet is not just for young players, it is also fantastic as a practice instrument or travel cornet, particularly if you’re playing on holiday or in a more challenging environment.

Absolutely fantastic cornet , sound fantastic and kids love it, nice size
Good quality. Bought for my four year old grandson to play alongside his musician dad really good value for a learning trumpet and sounds good as well
Perfect for the young cornet player. Light yet robust enough for some rough handling. Even my three year old grandson can blow some strong notes through it. Comes with two mouth pieces which the player can choose between, depending on the type of playing utilised. Great fun.
Brilliant starter. Absolutely fantastic and super light. My 5 year old son is happily playing away on it as I type. Great starter before committing to the next stage and higher costs
At Warwick Music we believe everyone should have the opportunity to make music. That’s why we’ve put together this page of resources to help any beginner start learning to play trumpet and experience the transformational power of music.
